What is your favorite undiscovered grape? Lagrein – It is thick-skinned and incredibly dark.

What was your first experience with an undiscovered grape? One of my first experiences with undiscovered grapes was when I purchased the vineyard. Planted in the mid 1990s, there were 12 acres planted to niche varieties. This was what attracted me to the vineyard and the pivotal reason I purchased the vineyard.

What do you love most about the undiscovered grapes? We love their rarity and uniqueness.
